This may have been the most interesting campaign I’ve ever written. Mostly because I didn’t have to write it. Jimmy Dean did. Nobody sold sausage better than the Sausage King himself. All we had to do was go through reams of archival footage locked away for years in a Dallas, Texas, vault. Then cherry pick his sunshiny words of sausage wisdom, bringing them back to life complete with his boots, signature, and all his cool, cowboy swagger. Heck, he even wrote the music for this campaign.
